The Sierra Nevada boasts Spain's highest mountains,
stunning scenery and hot sunny weather. During the spring
and autumn months, the surroundings are particularly
beautiful; in Spring the land is carpeted with a vast array
of wild flowers and blossom adorns the fruit trees which
are dotted around the lower mountain slopes. In autumn the
leaves turn golden brown, the fruit ripens and trees are
laden with the years harvest.
Summer, when snows have melted, provides the opportunity to
experience the best of high mountain walking, and all
easily accessible from our bases in Lanjarón or Capileira.

Each programme has been tried and tested by us, but can be
adapted to individual fitness, experience and the weather.

A fully inclusive programme of walks to make the most of the spring flowers in this beautiful area of southern Spain. Walks include venturing venturing to higher levels (depending on the snow) to see the early mountain flowers, visitng Alpujarran villages and optional trips to the Caves of Nerja and Alhambra.
A programme of high mountain walking amongst the 3000m peaks of The Sierra Nevada Mountains and an ascent of Mulhacen at 3400m mainland, Spains highest peak. This is a brilliant week for reasonably fit hill walkers who want to venture into the higher mountains. It includes an optional visit to the Alhambra in Granada.
A range of moderate day walks designed to make the most of autumn in the Alpujarra and lower slopes of the Sierra Nevada. Includes optional trips to the Caves of Nerja and Alhambra.
