Activity holiday for people with a learning disability in Southern Spain

•  7 days of activities  •  full board in Hotel Sol, Lanjaron

Have you ever tried an adventure activity holiday? We believe that people with a learning disability have so much to gain from the outdoor experience. Many of the people who have joined us for a holiday or activity session have gained confidence, self reliance and a sense of achievement, as well as having lots of fun. If you think this is for you, or the person you support, contact us to find out more.

For this holiday, if you need personal care, you will need to bring someone who can help you. We can provide support with less personal needs.  For this holiday you do need to be able to walk.  If in doubt, contact us to ask about your particular needs.

Our plan for this holiday:

Twin room at hotel Lanjaron

Day 1 – We pick you up from the airport, then drive to the hotel and look round the town.

Walking in the Sierra Nevada Mountains

Day 2 – Drive into the mountains, for a lovely walk with great views.

Rock Climbing in Southern Spain

Day 3 – We will learn to rock climb and abseil. We might try a bit canyoning. This means abseiling through a small river, and playing in water slides and pools.

walking through Monachil GorgeDay 4 – A walk through a deep gorge, with lots of fun things to do on the way.

visit the beach; swim in the seaDay 5 – Visit to the beach and the chance to swim in the sea.

Shrine above Pinos Del ValeDay 6 – A walk through woods to a little shrine high on the hillside and time for shopping for presents to take home.

Day 7 – Your choice of walking, climbing or visiting the city of Granada.

We spend the evenings in Lanjaron which has lots of things to do in the evening.

Our aim is to provide you with a holiday to remember whatever your age or ability. We are always ready to tailor make the programme to individual preferences or to design one specifically for your group.
