This small hostal was built in 2009; it has only 8 rooms, but is beautifully appointed, and all have balconies and views of the mountains. The resturant serves good locally sourced catalan food, and the friendly owners are keen mountain people, willing to give support and advice to walkers.
The hostal is only a few minutes walk from the mountain railway, from where we can catch the train to the Nuria Sanctuary.
